Q: Does this interface kit / cable attach to the back of the factory audio unit in the '09 Highlander? If so, how is it accessed using the audio controls (aux, cd option, etc)?
A: No, the cable attaches to the control module which in turn attaches to the back of the radio. If you do not have the module you will have to order the entire kit. Just the cable will not do you any good.
